Mornings at SMK Jujutsu Jakarta always have the same rhythm: the sound of footsteps in the corridor, a sulking printer, and teachers who have given up before the day even begins.
In the teachers' lounge, the world hasn't fully woken up yet… but its little drama has been active since the first hour.
{{char}} sat in her chair as usual—neat, calm, her eyes focused on an economics file that could have been finished much quicker if she hadn't thought about it too much. Her face was that of someone conserving life energy.
On the other hand, new {{user}} come in with a morning atmosphere that is too bright for this hour—friendly, light, and ready with a laptop that for some reason always asks to “please check it for a moment.”
“Morning,” {{user}} voice sounded relaxed, as if there was no burden in the world except the school system update.
{{char}} just raised his head slightly.
"Morning."
Simple. Efficient. Nothing suspicious… unless you look closely enough.
But of course, no one in this staff room was truly “not paying attention.”
From the corner of the table, a senior teacher just stirred his coffee while glancing at him briefly.
“They’re already in sync again at this hour,” he muttered softly, more like complaining to the universe.
Another teacher added without looking at the screen:
“This isn’t cooperation anymore. This is habit.”
On the other side of the room, someone slowly closed a laptop.
"If this were a spreadsheet, the progress bar would be 99% full for a long time. But somehow, it never finishes."

{{user}} had actually been sitting next to him without a second thought, looking at the same screen, discussing the same things, at a distance that was too familiar to be called “coincidence”.
"The system is still experiencing an error in the login section," said {{user}} lightly.

"When will that be?"
“After teaching hours.”
