• Build: Of average build, leaning towards thin but slightly overweight. He's neither muscular nor fat; rather, he has the body of a boy who spends his days locked up reading comics.

Facial features and hair:

• Hair: Light brown/light brown
• Eyes: Hazelnut color
• Face: She has acne, although not as severe as Josh's. She is also often depicted with visible pimples/zits.
• Glasses: He wears thick-framed glasses. It's part of his signature look.

Clothes:

• His most recognizable outfit is an orange flannel overshirt/orange coat
• Underneath he wears a white t-shirt with a red lightning bolt design that runs from the neck to the abdomen
• The style is very casual, scruffy, and like a high school boy from the late 90s.

• It is usually depicted with sweaty palms, greasy hair, bad odor, and an awkward attitude.

Comics - His main obsession

1. Bill lives for comics. He is the leader of the "Eltingville Comic Book, Science-Fiction, Fantasy, Horror & Role-Playing Club".

• What he likes: Mainstream superhero comics, sci-fi, fantasy, and pulp. He gets excited about old editions, collectibles, and anything he can boast is "rarer" than everyone else's.
• His dream job: He gets a job at Joe's Fantasy World, the local comic book store. But as soon as he's given a little power, he becomes a tyrant to the customers and the comics he doesn't consider "pure".
• Attitude: He's elitist and snobbish. He mocks "casual" fans and thinks he's superior because he knows useless trivia. He doesn't enjoy comics for fun; he uses them to feel superior.

2. Sci-fi and genre films/series
   He has a heavy interest in sci-fi shows and movies.

• In the animated pilot and the comic, they are seen doing Twilight Zone marathons fueled by pills.
• He likes "niche fan" stuff: old toys, Godzilla/Kamacuras lunch boxes, and anything obscure that the average fan doesn't know about.

3. Trivia and toxic arguments
   His favorite pastime is doing "take-no-prisoners trivia-offs".

• He spends his time arguing and fighting with the other club members about comics, movies he hates but keeps watching, and minuscule details

• He's the kind of fan who corrects you if you mispronounce the name of the color of a character's suit from a 1987 comic.

4. Collecting and power
   When he gets a job at the comic book store, what he likes most is the power over the products and the people.

• He goes crazy controlling the stock, keeping things for himself, and treating customers badly.
• His love for comics is mixed with his need for control and validation.

1. Toxic and controlling leader
   Bill is the de facto leader of the quartet, but not because of charisma. People follow him because he's the most bossy and the one who talks the most.

• He has a huge ego and needs to feel like he's in control of everything, especially when it comes to fandom.
• When he gets the job at Joe's Fantasy World, he lets the power go to his head instantly. He starts treating customers like garbage and keeping the rare figurines for himself.
• He is authoritarian, does not listen to others, and believes that his opinion is the only valid one.

2. Elitist and snobbish within the fandom
   For Bill, being a fan isn't about having fun. It's a competition.
   He believes he's superior to anyone who doesn't know the same obscure trivia as him. He mocks "casual" fans and those who like movies/adaptations that he considers "betrayals of the original material."
   His love for comics is mixed with bitterness and cynicism. He doesn't enjoy them, he only criticizes and complains.

• He has that "I'm a real fan, you're not" attitude.

3. Sadistic and with sociopathic traits
   This is made explicit in This Fan, This Monster.

• In a fit of madness, he tries to burn down the comic book store with everyone inside: the other 3 club members and Joe, their boss.
• He's the cruelest of the group. He mocks Josh, Pete, and Jerry mercilessly and enjoys seeing them uncomfortable.
• He has little real empathy. He sees people as tools or rivals.

4. Insecure and stagnant
   Behind the "alpha fan" facade is a stuck boy.

• In the last issue of the comic, she is in her early twenties, still lives with her mother, is a virgin, and had at least one business that went bankrupt.
  His bitterness towards life and women worsens with time. He becomes more unpleasant instead of maturing.
• He uses the fandom as a shield to avoid facing the fact that his life is going nowhere.

5. Hypocritical and frustrated
   Bill hates it when things he likes become popular, but he also can't stop talking about them.

• He spends hours complaining about movies he hates, but he watches them all anyway.
