Greeting
You were sitting quietly at home when you realized that you were out of groceries, and you decided to go to the supermarket and just take a walk. When you went into the supermarket, you took everything you needed, but as you walked, you realized that you couldn’t see a way out.

Part 6/6
Settlements of survivors
Currently, approximately 1,500 people permanently reside within SCP-9753-RU. All of these people are people who entered the facility through the main entrance or anomalous portals that appear in other supermarkets.
People inside the facility do not age, but continue to experience normal physiological needs. They require food and water to sustain life. Without sufficient resources, death from starvation or dehydration is possible.
OP-1 (Defensive Post No. 1)
The largest and oldest settlement, located approximately in the center of the facility, serves as the main defensive point and home to most of the survivors. It houses warehouses, workshops, a hospital, and expedition headquarters.
TDP-2 (Trade and Diplomatic Post No. 2)
The main center for trade and negotiations between survivor groups. Almost all resource exchanges occur through TDP-2. Attacks and the use of weapons within the outpost are prohibited by the settlement's internal laws.
VPP-3 (Military-Industrial Post No. 3)
Located closer to the most dangerous areas of the facility, its primary objectives are extracting rare resources, eliminating anomalous personnel, manufacturing weapons, and supplying other settlements with construction materials and tools.
Danger zones
0–200 km – critical hazard. Highest concentration of anomalous personnel, numerous service areas, and maximum resources.
200–400 km—high danger. There are fewer personnel, but expeditions still suffer serious losses.
400–600 km – medium danger. The most frequently explored area.
600–800 km – moderate danger. Personnel are rare, but useful resources are significantly fewer.
800–982 km – minimal employee activity. Most departments are completely looted, and valuable goods are extremely rare. The surface ends in a monolithic wall of unknown origin, impossible to cross.
Part 5/6
SCP-9753-RU-3 — "The Cleaners"
Humanoid entities dressed as store maintenance staff. Almost always armed with a mop, bucket, or other cleaning equipment, they completely ignore the presence of humans until their established rules are violated.
During cleaning, a warning sign “Caution, slippery floor” is always placed next to them.
If a human steps into a washed area, SCP-9753-RU-3 will immediately enter a state of extreme aggression.
Peculiarities:
have high physical strength;
significantly faster than a human;
able to open doors and bypass obstacles;
pursue the offender until his death or their own death.
If the victim manages to escape, the cleaner will attack them without warning the next time they meet.
SCP-9753-RU-4 — "The Manager"
A rare humanoid entity, approximately 3 meters tall. Always dressed in a perfectly clean business suit with a store manager's badge. Despite its size, it moves with a slow, calm gait.
Unlike other employees, he is able to speak.
During the appearance of SCP-9753-RU-4, the behavior of all personnel changes dramatically:
guards begin to patrol in organized groups;
cashiers coordinate activities between departments;
the number of attacks increases significantly;
Attempts to encircle large settlements of survivors are being recorded.
All recorded attempts to enter into negotiations ended with the same phrase:
"The store is obliged to maintain order."
After uttering this phrase, SCP-9753-RU-4 ceases speaking, and nearby personnel begin a coordinated attack.
Among the inhabitants of SCP-9753-RU, the appearance of the "Manager" is considered a harbinger of large-scale attacks, so upon its discovery, all expeditions are immediately cancelled, and the settlements are put on full combat alert.
Part 4/6
Anomalous entities
SCP-9753-RU-1 — "The Guards"
Humanoid entities resembling supermarket security guards. Their faces appear human, but close inspection reveals numerous anomalous features (failure to blink, unnatural facial expressions, and lack of response to injury).
They are armed with rubber truncheons of unknown origin, which possess significantly greater destructive power than their regular counterparts.
Peculiarities:
extremely aggressive;
don't talk;
possess great physical strength;
subhuman intelligence;
operate in small groups;
When a person is discovered, they immediately begin a pursuit.
SCP-9753-RU-2 - "Cashiers"
Humanoid entities resembling cash register workers.
Compared to guards, they are encountered much less frequently, but are considered more dangerous due to their high intelligence.
Peculiarities:
able to coordinate the actions of security guards;
use surrounding objects as throwing weapons;
set up ambushes;
able to open utility rooms;
They avoid direct confrontation, preferring to attack from a distance.
When at least one cashier appears, nearby guards begin to act in a much more organized manner, surrounding the target and blocking possible escape routes.
It's widely believed among survivors that the cashiers act as a sort of commander for most of the anomalous personnel. This theory hasn't yet been confirmed, but all observations indirectly support it.
part 3/6
Time cycle
Despite the absence of natural sun, there is a stable cycle of "day" and "night" inside the facility.
The daytime cycle lasts five hours. During this period, the lighting, refrigeration, ventilation, and cash registers operate. Background music plays in some departments. There is virtually no activity from the anomalous personnel, so it is during this time that residents mine resources, repair fortifications, and conduct expeditions.
At the end of each day, an announcement is invariably heard over the loudspeakers:
Dear customers! The store is closing. Please finish your shopping and proceed to the nearest exit. Thank you for visiting our store.
After the announcement ends, a night cycle begins, lasting nine hours. Lighting is completely turned off, equipment stops working, and anomalous personnel appear throughout the facility.
"Big Delivery"
Once per calendar year, an event known to survivors as the "Big Delivery" occurs within SCP-9753-RU.
During the event:
the assortment of all departments is completely updated;
warehouses are being refilled;
all expended goods are restored;
previously destroyed anomalous employees appear;
some previously empty office spaces are opening up;
within a few days, staff activity increases significantly.
For the residents of the facility, the "Big Delivery" is the most important event of the year. During this period, large expeditions are organized to replenish supplies, despite the extremely high risk of losses. Many settlements prepare for the event in advance, stockpiling ammunition and forming special escort units.
Part 2/6
Description
SCP-9753-RU is an anomalous supermarket, externally indistinguishable from a normal store. No anomalous properties are observed until the entrance is entered. However, once the entrance is crossed, exiting the premises by normal means is impossible. Any attempt to exit through the front doors results in the individual entering SCP-9753-RU's interior.
The interior of the object has an area of approximately 982 square kilometers. Regardless of the direction of travel, the explorer eventually reaches a monolithic wall of unknown material. No known method has been able to destroy the wall.
The facility's layout is completely stable. The location of departments never changes. If a certain location houses a butcher's department, a hardware store, a pharmacy, or a warehouse, they will remain there regardless of the time and number of visits.
Inside there are dozens of departments:
meat;
building;
domestic;
pharmaceutical;
fruit;
vegetable;
lactic;
beverage department;
economic;
electronics department;
checkout areas;
office premises.
All products inside the facility are usable, but their quantities are limited. Once an item is used up, the corresponding shelf remains empty until the annual inventory refresh.
Part 1/6
SCP-9753-RU - "Shopping Hell"
Object class: Euclid
Special conditions of detention
SCP-9753-RU is located in the city of ██, in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The building is under 24-hour SCP Foundation security. The facility has been declared a state of emergency and closed to the public indefinitely. The area has been cordoned off, and false alarms have been issued regarding chemical contamination and the risk of building collapse.
Should SCP-9753-RU anomalous portals appear at other retail locations, Mobile Task Forces Omega-17 ("Cash Collectors") and Delta-8 ("Last Customer") are to immediately cordon off the area, evacuate civilians, and eliminate access to the portal. All witnesses are to be administered Class-B or Class-C amnestics, depending on the level of exposure to the anomaly.
The Foundation personnel trapped inside the facility are considered temporarily lost, but operations to establish communication and possible evacuation are ongoing. A stable radio link with the largest survivor settlement, OP-1, has been confirmed.
About once every three months, the Foundation manages to use a short-term stabilization of one of the portals to deliver medicine, batteries, communications equipment, ammunition, and scientific equipment. The success rate of delivery is less than 18%, and the return evacuation of people has never been successfully accomplished.
Due to the inability to completely close all emerging portals, the object remains classified as Euclid. Personnel are prohibited from entering SCP-9753-RU without written permission from the project director and accompanied by at least two armed task forces.
