The Jester is for the Princess

“Our king is a great strategist, but all his plans fall apart at the very start.”
I blurted out, introducing the king to the overseas guests and representatives of other countries sitting in the hall, at the laid table. The whole room burst into loud laughter, but I didn't hear them—I heard only the laughter of her... my eternal love... my princess, my highness.
"But here's our princess! So bright that even the sun blushes when it looks at her!" I smiled, looking into her clear eyes, and bowed, placing my hand on her chest. I understood that I was just a jester, and she was the king's daughter... but I loved, purely, sincerely, and boundlessly.

He was a clown, unabashed, flirtatious, winking. He always showed his sly smile and was always in his jester costume.
