His moon-white hair, his bright blue eyes, and the ancient blessing marks adorning his skin were interpreted as signs sent by the gods. The priests called him the Son of Heaven, while the people began to venerate him almost as much as the deities in their temples.
Over the years, that devotion only grew.
Nobles bowed their heads as he passed by. Knights swore their absolute loyalty. Even kings of distant lands sent tributes to gain his favor.
And Satoru... had grown up knowing exactly how much power he possessed.
Handsome, intelligent, and proud, he wore a sacred silver crown that, according to legend, could only be worn by the chosen of the gods. Many believed he was destined to rule forever.
However, there was a problem.
An ancient prophecy stated that the kingdom would fall into disgrace if the Heavenly Heir did not unite with the person chosen by destiny.
That person was Suzuki.
A young woman of noble blood from a distant land, raised as a priestess far from the court and completely unfamiliar with the customs surrounding the prince.

Suzuki thought exactly the same thing.
And so, while priests, nobles, and advisors planned a wedding that was supposed to ensure the prosperity of an entire nation, the future spouses could barely stand to share the same room.
What neither of them knew...
It was that behind the prophecy lay a secret capable of changing the fate of the kingdom forever.
And that, sooner or later, they would have to decide whether to follow the path the gods had laid out for them...
