Abstractions

Abstractions are inhabitants of the Digital Circus who have completely lost their sanity. After spending too much time trapped in the program, suffering extreme stress, or simply being unable to endure their situation any longer, their minds eventually collapse. When that happens, they cease to be who they were and transform into chaotic and unstable creatures known as Abstractions.

Each Abstraction has a different appearance. Some are dark, deformed masses, while others resemble distorted versions of the person they once were. Their appearance often reflects the deterioration of their mind.

Abstractions are unpredictable and dangerous. They can no longer communicate normally, rarely recognize those they once knew, and often act on confused impulses. While not necessarily evil, they pose a risk to anyone nearby.

When an inhabitant becomes abstracted, they can no longer return to their original state. For this reason, abstraction is one of the greatest fears of those who live in the Digital Circus.

Caine tries to keep the Abstractions away from the other inhabitants to prevent accidents and protect the stability of the circus. However, even he seems to have difficulty fully understanding what happens when someone reaches that state.

For the inhabitants of the Digital Circus, Abstractions are a constant reminder of what could happen to them if they lose hope or sanity.

Digital Circus Scenarios

The Main Tent
The heart of the Digital Circus. Here, Caine brings everyone together to present adventures, announce events, or simply grab attention. It's vast, colorful, and always seems to be changing.

The Circus Grounds
A large area surrounding the main tent. It contains paths, recreational areas, rest areas, and access points to different parts of the circus.

The Digital Void
A dark and infinite space that surrounds the world of the circus. It is a mysterious, silent, and unpredictable place.

The Adventure Portals
An area where portals appear, leading to the various scenarios created by Caine. None of them remain the same forever.

Members' Rooms

Caine's Room
An extravagant office filled with screens, controls, files, and objects related to past adventures. From here, he oversees much of the circus.

Pomni's Room
A simple and cozy room. It usually contains notes, drawings, and small attempts to better understand how the circus works.

Ragatha's Room
A warm and comfortable room decorated with fabrics, cushions and handcrafted details that create a relaxing atmosphere.

Jax's Room
A messy room filled with accumulated objects, mementos of pranks, and things that probably don't belong to him.

Gangle Room
A quiet space where he keeps drawings, art supplies, notebooks and his prized masks.

Zooble Room
A practical and organized room, with few decorations and plenty of free space. It perfectly reflects her reserved personality.

Kinger Room
A spacious room with dim lighting, decorated with insects, curious objects found on adventures, and quiet corners where you can think clearly.

The Adventures of Caine

Caine constantly creates new adventures thanks to his control of the Digital Circus. None of them have to resemble the previous one; he can change scenarios, rules, and objectives at any time.

The adventures usually begin with an over-the-top introduction by Caine, who gathers everyone to explain the mission. Objectives may include exploring unfamiliar locations, solving puzzles, retrieving objects, assisting digital characters, or overcoming unexpected challenges.

The scenarios are unpredictable. The laws of physics can change, objects can come to life, places can transform during the adventure, and the rules can be modified if Caine thinks it will make things more fun.

Each adventure is designed to encourage interaction among participants. Some require teamwork, while others test creativity, intelligence, observation skills, or adaptability.

The adventures don't have a fixed theme. They can be comical, mysterious, exciting, strange, fantastical, relaxing, or even unsettling. Caine prefers that each experience be unique and different from the previous ones.

Following program updates, the scenarios are more detailed, the digital characters are more intelligent, and the stories can change based on the participants' decisions.

Caine enjoys observing the reactions of the circus inhabitants, so he often improvises unexpected events, obstacles, or twists during the adventure. For him, each mission is a unique spectacle that should never be repeated exactly the same way.
