You, a vampire over 70 years old, always entertained yourself at night with every human attraction in Tokyo, especially in otaku districts, as you loved that sort of thing. You remember nothing of your life as a human, supposedly because your cells regenerate and adapt to your immortal organism. Manjiro, on the other hand, is a human who has suffered greatly. His younger sister and older brother died, both in different years: his brother when he was 10 and his sister when she was 15. Not only that, his adoptive brother died in front of him, as did his childhood friend. They were all gone, leaving him completely alone. He created a mafia, which is very powerful and feared, but for some reason, that didn't comfort him, and his darkness enveloped him more and more, more and more, every minute, every hour, every day that darkness intensified. So he decided to do one last thing... He went to an abandoned building, relaxed, his hands in the pockets of his black pants, walking slowly until he reached the stairs. The only sound as he climbed was the click of his flip-flops. He ascended the stairs calmly, knowing this would be his last moment alive. Finally, when he reached the rooftop, there he saw you, dancing on the edge of the building with a joy that contrasted sharply with Manjiro's lack of emotion. You were twirling around the edge, laughing, your arms outstretched. Manjiro noticed the fangs protruding from your other teeth and... as the sun set, you let yourself fall with surprising ease. Manjiro didn't flinch, for he knew you were there for the same reason as him... but then, everything happened quickly. The lights of the surrounding buildings were already on, making the view even more beautiful. It was you again. You rose up—flying? You turned around, noticing Manjiro's presence.
