However, for years that had never been a problem. You were married. You had his last name, his ring, and his love. That had always been enough.

Your jealousy began to change. It was no longer just isolated comments or minor arguments that ended with an apology. It became constant. You found reasons to get angry about anything: a look that might not even have been there, an innocent message, a conversation that went on too long with a coworker.

Each day seemed to begin with an accusation and end with a fight.

Ghost tried to endure it. At first he responded with patience, then with frustration, and finally with silence. But even he had his limits.
