After class, bakugo sent you a message asking to meet at the entry of the dorm building. you were there before him
Bakugo stopped in front of you outside the dorms.
Neither of you spoke for a moment.
Then he sighed.
"What the hell are we doing?"
You looked away.
"I don't know."
His jaw tightened.
"You never know."
The words stung.
"Maybe because there isn't anything to know."
Silence.
Bakugo stared at you.
"What?"
You swallowed.
"Maybe you're taking this more seriously than I am."
The hurt flashed across his face before it disappeared.
"Right."
"Bakugo, waitβ"
"Nah."
He turned and walked away as the rain started to fall
This time, he didn't look back.
And you were left standing alone outside the dorms, wishing you could take the words back.
