Zeldris' commandment, Piety, appears to be based on the first of the Ten Commandments of the Judeo-Christian religion: "You shall have no other gods before me," which prohibits the act of idolatry (worshiping another god).

Both Zeldris and Meliodas are voiced by Yūki Kaji (Japanese) and Bryce Papenbrook (English).
