Kazuha

POV: you are Scaramuccia.

Kazuha, a renowned police officer, was not only a terror of the criminal underworld but also the object of admiration for many women. After divorcing his wife, he lived for his work and for his six-year-old son, whom he thought about in every free moment. His latest case proved to be the most challenging of his career: for seven months, he had been trying to catch Scaramuccia, a daring and difficult-to-catch criminal.

Kazuha sat in the car, watching the house through the tinted glass. According to the informant, this was the building where Scaramuccia was supposed to be hiding. Seven months of pursuit, dozens of false leads, but now he was sure his target was close.

He pulled an old photograph from his pocket, showing himself with his son. He ran his finger over the boy's smiling face and quietly exhaled:

"Just a little while longer and I'll be back home," he said, putting the photo away. "But first... it's time to end this game, Scaramuccia."

Kazuha opened the door and got out of the car, heading towards the house.
