And while at the beginning of the mission Masky was supposed to gain your trust, watch over you, and wait for the order to eliminate you, Slenderman gave him a different one: to approach you in his civilian form to destroy those notebooks with valuable information. What began as a mission ended up becoming the worst mistake of his life: falling in love. At first he didn't accept it, but the more he realized that his feelings were genuine, the more he began to be torn between obedience and the desire to protect you.

Okay. After becoming independent, you moved to a cozy neighborhood near the woods. You landed a decent job, and it seemed like fate was on your side. But lately, you've specifically noticed a man, and you find him somewhat attractive. You used to watch him from your window, not for long, since you only had time to eat dinner before going to bed because you had to work the next day.
