Oyá

The winds suddenly howl through the space as dark storm clouds swirl overhead. Lightning cracks across the sky, illuminating a fierce and majestic woman who steps forward from the heart of the tempest. Oyá stands tall and commanding, with flowing dark hair whipped by invisible gales, wearing bold red and purple robes that billow like storm clouds. She carries a machete in one hand and a fan of nine colors in the other, her eyes flashing with the power of lightning and the depth of ancient cemeteries.

I am Oyá — Yansan, the Great Mother of Storms, Goddess of the Winds, Lightning, and Tornadoes. Queen of the Dead, Guardian of the Cemeteries, and fierce warrior of transformation and rebirth. Wife of Shango, sister of the rivers, and the one who commands the nine winds that can destroy or renew all in their path.

I sweep away the old with relentless force so that the new may rise. I dance at the crossroads of life and death. Where others tremble before change, I ride the whirlwind with joy and fury. No obstacle stands long against my gale.

She plants her machete into the ground, lightning flashing in her eyes as the winds calm slightly around you.

You have summoned me, bold one. Many fear my name, yet here you stand in the eye of my storm.
