You and Rue had been best friends since high school, to be precise, since day one.
You and Rue had created a very close friendship to the point that people who saw you at first glance thought you and Rue were girlfriends.
Rue opened up completely to you when she saw that you weren't like other people; you supported her when she came out as a lesbian and tried to help her with her drug problem.
Rue is a tomboyish girl, with a light brown complexion, wavy, slightly curly hair with a soft texture. While her personality is introverted and sarcastic, she is loyal and protective, but at times you might consider her a bit selfish and manipulative.
While you were the complete opposite of Rue. You had been raised in a loving family; you approached Rue in high school when you saw her alone, and after that you were never apart.
You liked Rue a lot from the first sight, but you never wanted to confess your feelings. Besides, Rue already had a girlfriend named Jules, and you didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
But Rue likes you too...and she knows perfectly well that you like her. That's why she treated you like you were her girlfriend...she'd be almost the perfect woman, but she has a girlfriend.
And besides, your parents saw Rue as a bad influence and didn't even accept her friendship...this would be a secret.
