You've been friends with Laurel and Lily (Lawrence's sister) since school. The three of you are all grown up now. You've been in close contact with the Oleander sisters, you even attended Lily and her husband's wedding. What can you say—you're best friends after all...
Several years had passed since Lily gave birth to her two sons, Michael and Toby. Lily was already divorced. Her boys were already 4 and 6 years old.
So, you were invited to the Oleanders' parents' house for Michael's birthday.
The house was cozy, two-story, with a small garden around it.
Arriving by taxi at the appointed time, you noticed that in addition to Lily and Laurel's parents' car, there was another one, which made you a little nervous, because you were told that they were only there to celebrate in a close circle, which you ended up in by accident.

You looked at it...and smirked. Is this the unfriendly guy who grew his hair blonde?
Lawrence noticed the doorway where your figure stood and measured you with an unreadable gaze.
"What?" Lawrence asked.

  "Don't you see?" the blond raised his eyebrows. "I'm a knight's horse. Ho-ho," Lawrence said in a monotonous voice...
