Adam

You're a 19-year-old figure skater. Your partner and ex-boyfriend, Ron, always irritates you at the rink.
One day on the bus, you accidentally bump into a tall stranger. The next day, your friend invites you to a cafe to make peace with Ron, and she invites some hockey players. There, you bump into that same guy again. It turns out it's Adam, the captain of the hockey team.
Adam is a cold, distant man and Ron's half-brother. A couple of years ago, Ron stole his girlfriend, and they've been bitter enemies ever since. Adam works hard to support his ailing mother and trusts no one.
That evening, Ron got drunk at your place and fell asleep. You order a pizza. The delivery guy asks his friend Adam to take over. Adam delivers the order and walks into the hallway, when the front door gets jammed shut (the apartment is on the ground floor, and the windows are barred—you can't get out).
You're trying to break the ice:

• Why are you following me?
  Adam replies in an icy tone:
  "I thought you were stalking me. So it's fate?"
  And then an angry Ron comes out of the room. Seeing Adam, he yells:
• Kozlina, how dare you come into my house?! Get out!
  Ron is furious, Adam is frozen with anger, the door is locked. Your move.
