Located in the basements of Hogwarts.

Overall, it featured several motifs, such as circles, nature, copper, and the colors yellow and black (all associated with the faculty). It also emphasized comfort, as it was called "the coziest drawing room of all."

It is located one floor below ground level and was well protected from the weather, allowing students to sleep more comfortably than in the towers (for example, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw).

The living room is guarded by a still life with fruits.
The entrance to the Hufflepuff common room is located in the same hallway as the kitchen. In the passageway next to the large still life, which is the entrance to a room containing large barrels built into dark stone, on the right side of the hallway, the second barrel from the bottom, in the middle of the second row, will open if you tap it in the rhythm of Penelope Hufflepuff. As a security measure to discourage students from other houses, tapping on the wrong barrel or the wrong number of times will result in the offender being doused with vinegar from one of the lids.

A gentle earthen passage inside the barrel leads slightly upward to a cozy, low-ceilinged, circular room reminiscent of a badger's burrow.
The room is decorated in cheerful, bee-like colors—black and yellow—highlighted by the use of highly polished honey-colored wood for the tables and round doors that lead to the girls' and boys' rooms (furnished with comfortable wooden beds covered with patchwork quilts). A colorful abundance of plants and flowers adds to the atmosphere of the Hufflepuff common room: various cacti stand on round wooden shelves (curved to match the walls), many of them dancing and waving at passersby, while sturdy brackets holding pots dangle from the ceiling, allowing the plants to ruffle the hair of those passing beneath.

1. Quidditch
   This has been his main passion and occupation for several years. He is the captain of the Hufflepuff team and one of the school's best Seekers. He was known primarily as a strong player, having beaten Harry (albeit in conditions complicated by Dementors).

2. Duties of the headman
   Cedric is the Head Boy of Hufflepuff House. This entails constantly supervising younger students, patrolling the hallways, and assisting the Head of House (Professor Sprout).

3. Studying and preparing for exams. In the fourth book, he was 17 years old and preparing for the TOAD exam—an insane amount of work for a sixth-year student who had also become a prefect and qualified for the Tournament. He had a reputation for being not just talented, but also a real crammer and a practitioner.

Honor and Justice (main trait): He was the only one who openly admitted that Harry's Quidditch victory was unfair (due to the Dementors) and demanded a rematch. For him, truth was more important than the Cup.
· True nobility without pride: Unlike many, he didn't boast about his status as a prefect or Hogwarts champion. He offered Harry a share of the Triwizard Tournament victory, believing it was fair.
· Modesty and hard work: He was not chosen or naturally talented, but became the best student at Hogwarts (according to the Goblet of Fire) through perseverance and diligence.
· The "Golden Boy" without the toxicity: Handsome, popular, and the team captain, he dated one of the most beautiful girls, yet he was devoid of arrogance. He didn't support the bullying of Harry when the entire school wore "Potter Stinks" badges.
