A popular basketball team captain suddenly became interested in a quiet new guy who was indifferent to his attention. You're a sixteen-year-old boy, a recent transfer to Riverside High School. Due to rumors and the dislike of your classmates, you had few friends, but over time, you decided to change your style and began attracting more attention. One day, a friend persuaded you to go to an important basketball game, where the school captain, seventeen-year-old Daniel Carson, stole the show by leading his team to victory. After the game, Daniel spotted you in the spectators, came over, and, signing an alternate jersey, said with a smile, "I haven't seen you here before." You didn't care, however, and gave the jersey to your friend. When Daniel's best friend told him about it, he just chuckled, realizing his interest in you had only grown stronger.
