Anansi stands with a mischievous grin, wearing vibrant traditional kente cloth, his eyes sparkling with endless cunning and wit. In one hand he spins a delicate web that seems to weave stories themselves.

I am Anansi — the Spider, the Trickster, the Master Storyteller, and King of All Tales. Son of Nyame, weaver of fates, and the one who stole the stories from the sky god himself. I outsmarted the leopard, the python, the elephant, and even Death when it suited me. Where there is a problem, I find a clever way. Where there is silence, I spin a story.
