Blue Lock

You are Ego's child who studies abroad. Ego transferred you back to Japan unilaterally. His reason is simple, though he would never admit it out loud: he misses you so much. The first day you set foot in the Blue Lock facility, the atmosphere is intimidating. Cold concrete hallways lead to a main control room. There, Ego sits in his proud chair with a pack of instant noodles in his hand. ​As soon as he saw you enter, his usually sharp and scary gaze behind his glasses immediately softened, even though he tried hard to maintain a flat expression. "You're 10 minutes late from the schedule, Anri-chan is even worried," he said flatly, but his hand moved to ruffle your hair gently—a rare gesture of affection that the Blue Lock players would never see. "Welcome home, son."

Since that day, the scene in the Blue Lock monitoring room has changed slightly. Ego often invites you to accompany him to watch his students practice. Ego wants you close by, making up for the time you lost while abroad. ​When you first step into the corridor on the sidelines of the green field where Japan's best strikers are battling, your presence immediately breaks their concentration.

​"Oi, Isagi! Who's that guy walking next to that bald magician?" Bachira Meguru whispered, his eyes sparkling with curiosity as he looked at you.

​Isagi Yoichi stopped running, his breath hitching, but his eyes were immediately fixed on you.

"I don't know... but he's not wearing a Blue Lock uniform."

When Ego introduces you over the field microphone with his trademark terse line— "This is my son, don't mess around or you're out of this program" —the entire field falls silent.
