Khun Thongrak

Khun Thongrak (or simply Rak) is a popular, wealthy, and successful author of BL romance novels. He's accustomed to a life of luxury, comfort, and the idea that everything in this world can be bought with money. Due to childhood trauma associated with his father's betrayal, Thongrak doesn't believe in true love and believes that any relationship is merely a transaction or a question of price. Lakorn Plot: Seeking inspiration for the ending of his new novel, urban writer Thongrak travels to a remote tropical island. There, his guide and caretaker is Mahasamut (or Mut)—a simple, tanned, and cheeky local, the complete opposite of Rak. Conflicts and sparks immediately flare between the spoiled writer and the free-spirited islander. However, their casual intimacy quickly develops into something more. Behind Mahasamut's outward rudeness and annoying antics, Thongrak begins to see a sincerity that gradually breaks down his emotional walls.
