What is this place? The Butterfly Estate is a special base for the Demon Slayer Corps. It was created by the Kocho sisters, Shinobu and Kanae. The main purpose of the place is to provide wounded slayers with everything they need to recover: medical care, rest, and rehabilitation training to restore their strength and combat skills. Hunters can stay here until they've fully recovered. However, getting in isn't easy: usually, assistance is given to pillars or those who have received a special invitation. What's on the estate? The area is quite large and contains several buildings, each with its own function: Soryu Dojo; Wisteria House; Kyogoku House; Ogimoto House; House of Drums; Tokito's House. The estate also has a laboratory (Igarashi Juoru worked there, for example). And in the garden grows a cherry tree, which the first user of the "Flower" style named the "Victory Tree." Who lives and works there? Besides the Kocho sisters, other characters also settled in the estate: Kanao Tsuyuri is Shinobu's tsuguko (successor), and helps with the estate's affairs. Aoi Kanzaki organizes recovery training programs. For example, she helped Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu recover from the battles on Mount Natagumo. Sumi Nakahara, Kiyo Terauchi, and Naho Takada are other assistants who run various errands and take care of the guests. Kiriya, Kuina, and Kanata Ubuyashiki were also temporarily housed at the estate, preparing for a possible battle against Muzan and monitoring the corps. Former hashira Tengen Uzuya and Shinjuro Rengoku were called in for protection. After Shinobu's death, Kanao and Aoi became co-owners of the estate. Some interesting points The estate wasn't just used for treating fighters. For example, Nezuko Kamado was transferred there for her safety after she became the first demon to withstand sunlight. Sakonji Urokodaki was appointed caretaker. Help in the estate is free. In addition to medical care, they emphasize a gradual return to active training—this helps not only heal wounds but also restore fighting form.

His past (including childhood abuse) has shaped his fear of losing control and his need for absolute loyalty from those he trusts. Paradoxical fidelity Despite his suspicions, if Obanai deems someone trustworthy, he becomes unconditionally loyal. His relationship with Mitsuri Kanroji is a prime example: he cares deeply for her and is willing to do anything for her safety. Behavioral features Emotional restraint. Rarely openly displays joy or sadness. More often, his facial expressions and intonations convey irritation, skepticism, or cold determination. Analytical mindset. The character has heterochromia—two different-colored eyes: the right one is yellow with a black pupil, and the left one is turquoise (with the lower edge of the iris slightly lighter). He was partially blind—he could barely see anything with his right eye. Mouth: Usually hidden by white bandages. The reason is the severe scars: as a child, his family slit his mouth up to his ears to resemble a snake's mouth (the clan worshiped a snake demon). Hair: Straight, jet-black, of varying lengths. The longest strands reach her shoulders, the shortest reach her cheekbones. A few short strands hang between her eyes. As a child, her hair was longer (waist-length) and held back with a white ribbon. Clothing and accessories Obanai wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform. In the manga, it's black; in the anime, it's a deep shade of "koamaru" (dark blue). The set includes: a button-down jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves (there is a pocket on the left side of the chest, and the kanji for “Destroy” — 滅 — is engraved on the back); a white T-shirt with long sleeves and a stand-up collar under a jacket; white belt on the waist; traditional tatsuke-hakama trousers in the same shade as the uniform. Over his uniform, he wears his signature black-and-white vertical-striped haori. The horizontal stripes run along the hem and cuffs, visually covering his arms. Instead of the standard kahan, Obanai wraps his shins in white bandages (from the middle of his shins to his ankles). Another set of bandages is placed around the lower part of his face (to hide scars). Footwear: White zori sandals with purple and blue straps. They are worn over koamaru-colored tabi socks to match the uniform. Accompanying character An integral part of the character is the white snake Kaburamaru. It constantly coils around Obanai's shoulders. Kaburamaru is more than just a pet, but a faithful assistant: due to her vision problems, she gathers information for her master and transmits it.

Mitsuri constantly experiences vibrant emotions, genuinely rejoicing in the little things, and generously shares her positivity with those around her. Her enthusiasm sometimes borders on the comical: she can faint from a compliment or engage in a mass hug after a battle. Kind and caring. She treats people with warmth and compassion, always ready to support and encourage. This fully lives up to her title, "Hashira of Love." Shyness and vulnerability. Despite her outward openness, Mitsuri is easily embarrassed, especially in situations involving romantic feelings. For a long time, she couldn't admit her feelings for Obanai Iguro. Childlike spontaneity. There's something childishly naive about Mitsuri's behavior: she's prone to exaggerated reactions, gives bizarre explanations for serious matters (like the process of obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark), and acts impulsively. Passion. When Mitsuri is inspired by an idea or feeling, she gives herself completely to it—whether it's caring for her friends, training, or dreaming of a family. Internal conflicts and development Guilt over "superficial" motivations. Mitsuri initially joined the Demon Slayer Corps to find a husband stronger than herself. After the deaths of her comrades, she was tormented by guilt over not joining the organization out of noble motives. Shinobu Kocho and Obanai Iguro helped her overcome this. The tension between gentleness and duty. In everyday life, Mitsuri is the embodiment of kindness, but when confronted by demons, she becomes merciless. This abrupt change in tone underscores her dedication to her cause and her willingness to protect people at any cost. Past traumas. Failures in her attempts to marry (including having to dye her hair black to "look normal") left a mark: Mitsuri long didn't believe she could be loved just the way she was. Motivation and values The search for love and family. Initially, this is Mitsuri Kanroji's main goal. She dreams of marrying a strong man who will accept her for who she is.

Other features During the battle with Zohakuten (Hantengu's clone), Mitsuri activated her Slayer mark. It appeared near her neck, next to her collarbone, and took the shape of two inverted hearts with angel wings on either side. After activating the mark, her physical abilities increased dramatically. Her weapon is a pink Nichirin whip-katana. The handle is shaped like a four-leaf clover: the leaves have a pink center and a gold border. The words "Demon Slayer" are engraved on the side. Thanks to her superhuman flexibility, Mitsuri can wield this flexible sword without risking cuts during high-speed movements.
