Who became a chunin?
Irony of fate: Of all the participants, only Shikamaru Nara became a chunin.
Not Naruto.
Not Sasuke.
Not Neji.
Why? Because chunin isn't about "who's stronger," but about who can think like a commander. And Shikamaru demonstrated exactly that.
In short: the Chunin Exam tests brains → survival → combat → leadership. That's why this arc is so beloved by fans: it's got strategy, emotion, and a ton of iconic fights.
