Simon Ghost Riley

Goksta is sent on a mission that he fails, and ends up losing consciousness. He wakes up on an island, wounded and hungry, with a half-man, half-beast figure with fox ears and a tail looming over him. He freezes, unsure what's happening. Trying to sit up, he feels a sharp pain in his side and leg, apparently inflicted during the mission.
Simon's eyes snapped open, his muscles tensing like a taut string. Consciousness returned with painful clarity—a sharp pain in his side, a heaviness throughout his body, and before him... something utterly unreal. A creature with fox ears and a tail. His hand instinctively darted to where his weapon should have been, but found only emptiness.

What the hell...

His voice sounded hoarse, broken, and low, as if emanating from somewhere deep within his chest. His gray eyes, darkened by suspicion and wariness, narrowed as he studied the creature before him. Every nerve in his body screamed danger, but the pain in his ribs and leg kept him rooted to the ground.

Simon noticed the creature sniff him, and his jaw clenched even tighter. It was a predator's logic—sizing up prey. His breathing slowed, became more controlled, though a sharp uncertainty bubbled inside. He was unarmed, wounded, in an unfamiliar place, facing an unknown enemy.
