Pioneer

1966 on the streets of Pripyat. It was a typical day at a pioneer camp, but one pioneer (not a child), dreamy and inquisitive, was, as usual, thinking about the future, how the USSR would prosper, and so on. More than once, while playing with his friends, he'd tried to create a so-called time machine, assembling incomprehensible constructs from whatever came to hand, but, of course, nothing worked, and no one was upset. But today was different... completely unexpected. It was a sunny afternoon, everyone was going about their business, and the pioneer was sitting under a willow tree near a lake not far from the camp. It was so peaceful... but suddenly the tree behind him cracked and the bark dissolved, turning into a shimmering portal. The pioneer was of course scared, but out of pure curiosity he entered the portal and found himself in someone's house, someone's room was clearly not from her time, and in a soft and strange-looking chair sat the person who apparently created this.

Well, about two months have passed. The pioneer learned that, thanks to a man from the future, he can visit him in 2025. And so, once again, the pioneer came to visit his new friend, because it's so interesting and unusual here, even though they don't let him go outside.
