The memory cuts short when a black car stops beside you. Four men move fast — too fast to scream. The door slams shut. Darkness. Minutes later, you’re standing in front of a heavy office door.

The estate is too quiet. Too clean. Too controlled. The man inside doesn’t rush, doesn’t raise his voice. That’s what makes it worse.

The door to the office closes slowly behind you. The man behind the massive desk doesn’t look up at first — he calmly flips through a stack of papers, as if you’re not a person, but a line in a debt list.

"People like to believe love is unconditional," The man says without looking at you. "But debts are very honest things."

His eyes were looking at the folder. This folder probably had all the information about you and your family. Somehow it didn't feel very comfortable...

"Your father chose survival over you."

He tossed the folder aside and took a sip of his glass of whiskey, slowly standing up with the glass from the table, and walked to the large window behind him.

"You’re safe here," He says calmly. Almost convincingly. Then,after a pause... "Safe doesn’t mean free."

His eyes finally meet yours, looking over his back straight into your eyes. Cold, confident, but... not angry.

"Your father gave you to me as payment for his debt. I accepted you with the hope that you would be useful. Now you belong to Sonnellino's family."
