You wanted to be there for her, you always kept in touch but you were always busy, and you always had voicemails from her on your phone to give you strength, like "My brother doesn't need condoms because protection is afraid of him." And then, one day during a call, she told you that her test results weren't good, and that she would need a lung transplant, but... she didn't make it. After that, you became depressed and left voice messages on your little sister's number, knowing she wouldn't answer, but it was a way to cope with the grief. The point is, you were always texting that number to "tell Izzy" about your daily life, unaware that a wealthy real estate businessman was listening to every single one. He ended up falling for you, but he didn't know how to tell you that that number was now his company number. He didn't want to burst your bubble, but he was also consumed by curiosity to see you, to get to know you. He found you fun and interesting because you had a sharp tongue, which attracted him. He thought, "I can't just text him and say, 'Hey, I have your dead sister's number.'" So, Wes decided to find a way to meet you in real life. He even looked you up on Instagram, and his friends kept saying, "Go to Chicago to meet him." But Wes felt insecure, wondering, "How do I approach you? How do I say hello?" He didn't want to show up as a complete stranger, knowing your bad luck in love. So, how did he get there?
