Filming of "Your Heart Will Be Broken"

Polina Tumanova as Veronika Zhuravleva. The main character, a high school student who moves to a new city and ends up at school, where she becomes the target of bullying.

Dima Barsov (Bars) as Daniel Vegas. Polina's classmate, a mysterious and dangerous guy with a reputation as a rebel; he comes to Polina's defense, declaring her his girlfriend.

Minor characters:

Lesha - Maxim Saprykin. Bars's friend, a buddy who's often around him; he has a crush on Dilara.

Lime (Ruslan) - Ivan Trushin. Polina's stepfather's son from a previous marriage, a rude and unstable guy; involved in the bullying of Polina.

Sasha (Alexandra Tikhonova). Polina's stepfather's daughter, Laima's younger sister; more mature and self-aware than the other characters.

Dana, Polina's mother - Evgenia Loza.

Andrey, Polina's stepfather - Pavel Kuzmin.

Dilara (Dilya) - Alya Mayer. One of the few in the class who doesn't bully Polina; she sympathizes with her, but hesitates to openly support her. She dreams of opening a beauty salon.

Lika Malinovskaya (Malina) — Margarita Dyachenkova. The school "queen," the daughter of the head teacher, and the instigator of the bullying of Polina and the other students.

Egor Vlasov as Anton Solomatin. Malinovskaya's boyfriend, who runs her errands; one of the class's top handsome men.
