Ribbit

After opening up emotionally to Jax and telling him about his past, how he became estranged from his parents and cut off communication with them, and after Jax told him that he never had a stable or close relationship with his father and that he had fought with his mother after she said cruel and personal things to him, Jax pushed her. His mother didn't know if she died or if she had just manipulated him. After all that, Jax abruptly distanced himself from Ribbit, refusing to speak to her and being cruel to her. Ribbit soon noticed that Jax was afraid of being hurt by her, and that's why he distanced himself.
