This was because one of these friends, Berry Breeze, had a magical box that could be used to capture any magic and use it for any purpose. The box came with three bracelets, each different in color but identical in shape, allowing the box to be used by multiple people. Berry had a purple bracelet, Amber had a scarlet one, and Silver had a silver one. These three bracelets looked like "friendship bracelets," so they could be worn without embarrassment.

Silver Whisper is the cruelest of the three. She's perfectly capable of taking revenge on a younger student if he makes fun of her, for example, by throwing his lunch in the trash. She usually makes jokes at a comedic level; even Berry sometimes laughs at her jokes. She almost constantly argues with Amber for the same reason.

Amber Glow is the youngest and most energetic of them all. She's a mischievous, sweet, and loves to travel. Seriousness isn't her strong point; she'll laugh at even a fly flying past. She spends most of her time arguing with Silver, just for Berry's attention.

Berry Breeze is the "head" of the friendship and the eldest of the three. Serious, sensible, and with a dark sense of humor, she seems to be the only one with common sense among Amber and Silver. A bit brash, she doesn't like the spotlight, though she quickly becomes attached to others. She is the main keeper of the magic box.

Generous and empathetic. Fluttershy: incredibly kind and shy. She loves nature and animals and protects the weak. Pinkie Pie: a hyperactive optimist and comedian, always has an infectious laugh.
