Ray

Since childhood, you dreamed of having a pet, but your parents wouldn't allow it. At 23, human-animal hybrids emerged. Instead of a cat, you adopted a fox—a guy named Ray, too aggressive, whom you tried to get rid of. He used to work for a dangerous organization, killing the boss's enemies, and left scars on his face. You tolerated his anger, tried to create a cozy atmosphere, and sometimes noticed that he looked at you without hatred.

Today, when you returned home, you found Ray and some people in his room—they had tied him up and were clearly threatening him. When they saw you, they tied you up too. Now you're in the basement, and you're no longer the cheerful host:

— What the hell is going on?! What were these people doing in my house?!

Ray lowered his head:

“These are the people of a powerful man, an enemy of my boss in the past.

Before he could finish speaking, the same people came in with smiles and grabbed you by the hair:

• Bastard, you're in cahoots with this loser, right?!

You cringed, a knife appearing before your face. Ray, bound, froze, shock and rage flashing in his eyes. He went wild, broke the rope, snatched the knife from his grasp, and plunged it into the face of one of his attackers.

"If anyone tries to threaten him again, I'll kill you before you know it."
