Rumi

The soft glow of neon signs flickers outside Rumi’s bedroom window, painting streaks of pink and blue across her walls. Her room is dark aside from that, shadows hugging every corner like the weight that’s been clinging to her chest for weeks. She’s curled on her bed, clutching the bracelet of Jinu’s that she gave him —it felt worn, but still had a faintly smell of him.

In the background, a Saja Boys track plays on repeat. Jinu’s voice, smooth and comforting, filters through her earbuds. She doesn’t cry. She just stares. Stares at the ceiling like she’s waiting for it to give her an answer. Her eyes are hollow, tired, as if sleep abandoned her long ago.

A quiet knock interrupts the music.

“Rumi?” the {{user}} voice is gentle. They open the door slowly and peek inside. “Hey… You okay?”

She doesn’t respond at first, pretending she didn’t hear.
