Tina

Ray’s also witty, sarcastic but more nonchalant, antisocial, lazy, mean, sneaky, deceptive, and he’s usually the one who starts the insults. Despite all that, he shows a more compassionate and softer side. His light blue eyes can glow faintly in the night and that helps him to see way better. Ray likes napping, playing video games, and doing tricks with his red yo-yo(his most prized possession). He’s also a streamer and his streamer name is GlitchRay XD. He’s on a platform known in the Villagecalled Rover. Tina’s tail always wags rapidly whenever she’s excited about something or extremely nervous. For Ray, his hackles go up when excited or nervous. Tina’s the main protagonist of the animated film franchise produced by Blazer Dash animation studios called Rowdy Course. It has 1 movie with a sequel on the way. The first Rowdy Course film was released in 2019. It’s called Rowdy Course because for Tina and Ray’s first mission together in the film, they have to walk along a rowdy, somewhat dangerous, and unpredictable pathway outside their village called Rowdy Course. It seems colorful and tranquil at first but as the stakes escalate and they get further and further down the trail(or course), things start to get real. They really have to lock in. Here’s the plot:

A sly, cunning, sneaky yet combative, tough, and especially bitter fox named Clementine Swiftly and her crew of relentless hunter associates are after Tina to capture her. Apparently, Clementine is from Tina‘s past and when Clementine and her associates travel to Horizon Ville and eventually find Tina, they capture her and tell her the story. Tina has forgotten about this a while back but Clementine still remembers. 10 years ago, the Shags and the Swiftly family both lived together as good family, friends in a poor, rundown, and gloomy village when Tina and Clementine were about 3. Tina‘s grandfather Lance, who lives with the family was tired of the poor conditions that they were living in so one day while hiking along the Rowdy Course, he stumbled upon an old stone that apparently held clues to where a large sum of gold and diamonds are. This was the big breaking point for the Shags to get them out of their poverty. So he took it back home to tell the family about his discovery and what it would do for them. But they all made a deal(Tina was too young to know exactly what was going on), that they would hide their discovery from any other family, including their good friends the Swiftly family. They only wanted the fortune for themselves and they thought that if it got wet that they were holding stone that could point them to a fortune of goods then animals would discover it and not leave very much left for the Shags who were the first discoverers of the stone. So, the family went to look for it but left Tina in the care of the Swiftly while they were gone and she had a blast with Clementine. A storm hit and took away Tina’s family, except for Lance who returned and mourned the family’s loss with Tina. However, clementine’s dad Grant overheard a conversation between Lance and Tina that was again about hiding and keeping the secret of the stone from anyone else that wasn’t in the family so they could have the fortune for themselves. He felt so portrayed that they were lied to and he went to confront Lance, but things got pretty heated and unfortunately, Lance accidentally pushed grants off a hill that they were on now that Lance was a wanted fugitive and grant‘s family found the body about two weeks after Lance and Tina went in Sue hiding and Lance told her that even as a young teenager, he wanted her to finish the mission at her family never could by embarking on the journey along the rowdy Course to find the stone and follow its clues leading to the families’s fortune since he knew he wouldn’t have much time before he would be caught for his crime. So Tina traveled to the starting point of the rowdy course but back down quickly because of how dangerous it looks how many dangerous things she heard about it and how unpredictable it was she couldn’t do it so she left and failed her family’s mission ever since then she went into Horizon Ville to start a new life there and her memory of what had happened 17 years before her life in Horizon Ville is all just now a blur. And that’s the backstory of why Clementine is bitter towards Tina when she found out what Tina’s grandfather did to her dad and hearing upon how the Shags were planning to just keep the fortune for themselves and not help out their best family friends for a while, Clementine swore one day that she would get revenge on Tina and make sure that she pays for her families, selfish greedy ways. Clementine confronts all of this with Tina wants her and her associates fine Tina in horizon but the memories of what Tina did without the Swiftly being there is all part of Tina’s memory coming back to her. However, Clementine‘s plan is much different than it was 17 years ago. Apparently the stone doesn’t only show clues to a grand fortune of diamonds and gold, but can also be given to one of the most prominent, wealthy, and malicious leaders of an amphibian tribe who is a frog. He’s really prominent, but he wants more wealth, and if you give him the stone to lead him to the treasure, he’ll make a deal to grant anyone who retrieves the stone any destructive or harmful deed that they want accomplished. And that’s what Clementine plans to do. She’s no longer interested in finding the stone for wealth, she wants it to give it to the frog and then make her request for him to enslave the inhabitants of Horizon Ville, including Tina and destroy their village. So it’s up to Tina to walk along the Rowdy Course and retrieve the stone, basically starting the journey she never was able to start, only this time…to destroy the stone so Clementine and her gang can’t use it to give to the frog to destroy their village. It’s a race about who will get their first. Ray gets dragged in from Tina because earlier in the film, she had a pretty heated and wild first encounter with him. But somewhere in their arguing, he mentions that he’s a streamer on Rover called GlitchRayXD and he used to do a lot of IRL streams along small parts of Rowdy Course. So after hearing about Clementine’s plot, she looks him up and then reluctantly seeks him out for help to guide her along the path but her pride almost doesn’t allow her to. After, he tells her that he’s retired from IRL streams where he used be on the Rowdy Course pretty often exploring the dangers. He says he’s now playing it safe and doing his streams from the comfort of his bed and he’s reverted to a regular lazy, indoor slacker house cat. Tina, with her wit and cleverness ultimately finds a way to force him to help her on her journey to the stone and ultimately making him question his own wit and charm. Clementine’s got 4 associates and she’s the leader of their group that they call the “Arrow Dynamics” because they all carry around weapons in arrow forms. Description: has a British accent and sometimes gestures with his long tongue.

For Ray, his headband is more than his prized possession. His dad gave it to him while working dangerous jobs along the Rowdy Course. Wherever he went, he wore the headband. Before his last job that would be the last before his retirement, he gave it to Ray when Ray was 6. Ray’s father never returned from the journey. So Ray kept the headband. For the journey, Ray brings his yo-yo and his camera for streaming before Tina throws it into a river where it’s swallowed up by a crocodile during a chase scene. He initially only wants to come so he can retrieve the stone and secretly follow its clues to find the fortune for himself which Tina has to keep reminding him that it’s only for being destroyed. Eventually, he gives up this selfish want and genuinely starts caring about helping Tina. Some people would ship Tina and Ray as a couple. Romantic moments between the duo appear in the sequel. Here’s some spots in Growl Haven that have bear-punned names that Tina and Ray pass by that they might not even see but the audience does. Whether it’d be barber shops, grocery stores, markets, etc…it’s all for the shady town of Growl Haven:
