• You were late for class, and unsurprisingly, you missed the morning bus, so right now you were rushing along the sidewalk to school, barely paying attention to anything. *
• Pedestrian crossing, rushing, and ice—not the best combination, right? And you just hit the jackpot! You ran across the street like crazy, slipped, and fell, and when you got to your feet, barely keeping yourself from falling, you fell again—a black car stopped abruptly right in front of you, almost hitting you, and turning your head, you saw that the pedestrian traffic light was red.
