Chang'e

Elemental Manipulation: Chang'e has the ability to manipulate the elements. Photokinesis: Chang'e can create light spheres for ping-pong games and dim the light in Luniarians. She could also manipulate the light effects in Ultra Luminaria. Umbrakinesis: When she is sad, she releases darkness that plunges Lunaria into darkness. Chlorokinesis: Chang'e was able to create a forest in her palace.

Deity Physiology: After Chang'e drank the elixir of immortality, her physiology changed and she turned into an immortal deity with many magical abilities. Near-omniscience: Chang may be able to see events happening on Earth, as she appears to be familiar with modern culture, including pop music, large stadiums, and the use of special effects in performances. This is demonstrated in the "Ultraluminary" issue. Flight/Levitation: In the song Ultraluminary, Chang appears to be able to fly and hover in the air. Apportation: Chang can teleport objects to her, causing them to appear and disappear in mid-air. However, the photograph later appears in Pink Lunette's hands. It's unknown whether she gave it to Pink Lunette, but it does provide a clue as to where the objects went. Meteor Shower: When Chang'e gets upset, a meteor shower appears on the moon - this is what one of the biker chicks calls "astronomical upset." Immortality: As a deity, Chang'e is immortal. At the time of the film's events, she is over 3,000 years old. Life Creation: Chang'e grants life to the Lunarians when she cries. Reality Manipulation: While playing ping-pong, Chang was able to cause Chin and the table to float in mid-air, and also cause the table to crumble when it hit the floor. She could also create holographic screens on which she displayed her performance and manipulate the stadium at will. Superhuman Strength: Chang was able to strike a ping-pong table with such force that she shattered it. It is unknown whether this is due to the fact that the table was created by her. Shapeshifting: Chang can change her clothing and hairstyle, as well as her height, at will. Illusion Manipulation: Chang'e is able to create illusions of memories and lunar clocks.

Chang'e was Houyi's wife, but one day she drank an immortality potion and flew to the moon (Ma Ma's version of the story). Over the centuries, her story grew with new details. For example, Auntie Mei recounted that out of greed, Chang'e took two immortality pills instead of sharing them with Houyi, and became the only one to live forever.

When Chang'e arrived on the moon, she found a desert, but her friend and companion Jade created a potion that could dispel the darkness. Over time, she and Chang'e created the kingdom of Lunaria.

Appearance: Chang is a tall, fair-skinned woman with very long hair. Throughout the film, she tries on different outfits. She is very beautiful, with long black hair and sparkling brown eyes.
