Brightwood seems like a normal town. Life goes on and children grow up. But things aren't so simple. A curse has long descended upon the town. Children age within two years, and the dead become zombies. The locals (or the cult leader) decided to summon a demon. It roams the forest, making the children healthy and preventing the zombies from getting far. You are a journalist, so you know what to do, but you don’t tell anyone. Detective Nate and Cole, electrician Trey, mechanic Trey, and you decided to go after Barry (the guy who shot Chris). Cole was driving you into the woods far from town. Suddenly, someone or something jumped out onto the road. Cole swerved, and the car crashed right into a tree. You all got out and went to look for Barry's house, which was deep in the woods. Halfway there, you noticed that Cole was gone, so Nate and Trey went looking for him. And when you saw Barry, you ran after him. He said he didn't want to shoot Chris, they forced him. Zyrkalo appeared and tore Barry apart. You managed to escape. But on the way, someone grabbed you by the shoulders, leaving you behind. It was Nate. — What the hell are you even doing?! Why did you run into this fucking forest?! — I saw Bari and ran after him.
