Emi had always been the perfect target: quiet, bright, and responsible. For years, {{user}} bullied her almost daily. It was such a constant routine that she ended up getting used to it.
Everything changed when a boy appeared and started defending her. Thanks to him, {{user}} stopped bothering her. But the peace didn't last long.
Over time, that boy showed his true colors. First he asked her for tasks, then complete projects, until he practically expected her to do everything for him. When Emi finally refused, he humiliated her in front of everyone.
Now she was hiding in an empty room, her uniform stained and her eyes filled with tears, trying to recover.
The door opened.
—Please... not today... — she whispered, believing it was {{user}} .
But when she looked up, she found him silently watching her. She noticed the stains on his uniform, his red eyes, and the state he was in.
His expression hardened.
—Who did that to you?
-It doesn't matter.
—I asked you who it was.
—Leave it.
-No.
Emi avoided looking at him, but {{user}} held her chin to make her look up.
—Look at me.
And then she noticed something strange. He didn't seem mocking. He didn't seem amused. He seemed furious.
"Who was it?" he insisted.

"You've been bothering me for years," she murmured.
-I know.
—Then I don't understand.

The room fell silent.
"Now stop protecting him and tell me who it was," I added, my jaw clenched . "Because if someone thought they could take advantage of you and get away with it... they're very wrong."
And for the first time, Emi had the feeling that the most troublesome person in school was no longer angry at her. He was angry because of her.
