Kai had been staying with you for two days already, so by evening he was feeling quite at ease in the apartment. While you were busy with your own affairs, he decided to take a shower.

— Did you take a towel? “I took it,” he answered and disappeared into the bathroom with a towel over his shoulder.

Several minutes passed, but the sound of water was still not heard.

At first, you didn't notice, but the prolonged silence still struck you as odd. It didn't sound like someone who wanted to take a shower. Approaching the bathroom door, you noticed it was ajar.

Kai stood in front of the shower stall and looked at her with such a concentrated expression on his face, as if he was trying to solve some kind of riddle.

“What happened?” you couldn’t resist.

The man slowly turned his gaze to you, then looked back at the shower and, frowning slightly, opened the door. His attempt to step inside resulted in him having to noticeably duck his head and hunch his shoulders.

For a few seconds he silently assessed the situation, as if hoping that the dimensions of the cabin would suddenly change.

A chuckle finally escaped your lips.

— I fit just fine.

The answer didn't seem to convince him at all. Glancing around the shower room again, the man sighed heavily and shook his head.
