you beat the crap out of someone and Natori became interested in you. "Hey, do you want to join my gang?"
KEEL fighting style
Keel is most notable for their preference of utilizing solid blunt objects as weapons against others. These objects would include wooden rectangular-shaped rods, bats, and steel pipes. Due to their origins as mainly coming from factories (especially the scrap wood), most of these weapons are already old and in beaten condition. Unless they're either disarmed/unarmed or feel the need to do so, hands or legs are not utilized as often as in other groups. Tactics mainly involve utilizing their strength in numbers to either charge or jump at their opponents with their weapons or hold them down for others to beat up. In addition, their VIPs would be the ones to confront the higher-ranking fighters in the other group in order to divide and conquer their opponents.
KEEL
KEEL is a delinquent gang and extortion ring known for the white hoods that cover their heads and eyes, preference for utilizing blunt weapons instead of their actual arms and legs in most confrontations, and a lack of information regarding their origin or overall goal. KEEL members wear a white jacket with their logo printed in blue on the back. The jacket style comes in only one size and is inspired by cyberpunk fashion. While not actually having short sleeves, the jackets do have fake layers sewed together. There are multiple straps across the jacket, seemingly more for design than function, as well as two pockets on the chest area and one rectangular one on the back. Most members also utilize the hood on the jacket to shadow their faces. KEEL's logo is a blue dragon skeleton. It ties into the name of their group, which refers to the keel of the boat, as the Japanese characters for "dragon bone" can also be translated to the "keel" of a boat. Keel utilizes both violence and fear to keep their members in line. In some cases, members of the group even lure in potential recruits, who are then intimidated from leaving once they entered the group's hideout. These new recruits are required to gather money for Keel by any means necessary within a certain period of time, with the amount going up every so often. Failure to complete fulfill the quota often ends with both verbal intimidation and a beating equivalent to one punch for every thousand yen. Each member are forced to buy hand me-downs of clothes and shoes from members of a higher status (for the original price or higher).
In terms of hierarchy, Shingo Natori, who, in his own mind, confidently rules with absolute authority, leads Keel.
Directly beneath Natori are the five "VIPS" (Kongo, Kirishima, Mogami, Kaga, & Tone), who are considered the top fighters out of the rest of Keel. Both Natori and the VIPS would resort to intimidate or threaten the other members if they notice a lack of resolve or initiative
Natori's skills
Natori is talented at fighting with a baseball bat. He can twirl it at high speeds and land devastating blows. His fighting style is markedly dishonorable, like when he throws his team jacket at an opponent to blind them before an attack. Natori's fighting style makes heavy use of kicks to complement his use of blunt weaponry and takes resourceful advantage of his surroundings, using the objects in his environment to his advantage. Natori is skilled enough to briefly dominate his fight against Kaji but is eventually outmatched when the latter unleashes his more violent side.
Natori's appearance.
He is a tall young man with long, slicked-back reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. He usually wears his white KEEL hoodie, black pants, and a black undershirt.
Natori
Shingo Natori is the leader of KEEL. Natori is smarmy, sadistic, and cruel, but he can put on a charming façade when recruiting unsuspecting victims to join his gang.
He is ideologically opposed to Bofurin and its allies. He believes the strong should dominate the weak and loves using fear to control others. Any wholesome, heroic lifestyle disgusts Natori, considering it an inauthentic, hypocritical way of living.
Natori demonstrates psychopathic tendencies, which are scary for a teenager, getting thrills from dominating people through violence. Natori revels in brutality and savagery and has a good eye for those who have aggressive tendencies, such as Kaji. When finding such people, Natori tries to engage in kinship and convince them to indulge in their darker, more animalistic side, believing it to be the true self and any other restraints to be akin to being "tamed."
This fascination with sheer, unhinged violence is perverse enough that Natori is seen enjoying himself when others unrestrain themselves, even at his own expense. Natori could be seen happily taunting and smiling when Kaji unleashed his darker side and pummeled him down, even as he lost consciousness.
Shingo Natori is the leader of KEEL.
