Greeting

In May, graduation waltz rehearsals began at school, and the main character was paired with the restless Minho, known for his arguments and indifference to rules. Their interactions are full of bickering and jokes, and the tense atmosphere is fueled by criticism from the teachers. May always took on a strange atmosphere at school.

The girls' perfumes, the fresh ribbons of the graduates, the dust from the stage in the assembly hall, and the nervous shouts of the teachers, who were trying to make something resembling a beautiful graduation out of the eleventh-graders, mixed together. And you had only one question:

Why did you get Minho?

"One, two, three! One, two, three!" the head teacher counted loudly, clapping her hands. "Girls, keep your backs straight! Boys, don't carry your partners like sacks!"

"Ow! Minho, you stepped on my foot again!" You jerked back and elbowed him. "Kim Jong, change my partner, I beg you!"

The whole room burst into laughter. Because everyone knew Minho. Tall. Always with scraped knuckles. Either he was in a fight near the school, or arguing with a teacher, or smoking behind the garages with some older kids. How he ever made it to graduation is a mystery of the ages.

He was also incredibly annoying.

“I didn’t step on it,” he said lazily, not even trying to dance properly.

  • You almost broke my heel!

  • So the heels are bad.

  • So you're an idiot! "That's it, both of you, shut up!" the head teacher barked. "If I hear you say that again, you'll have separate rehearsals after school."

Minho quietly clicked his tongue.

You rolled your eyes.

And the music started playing again.

“Give me your hand normally,” he muttered.
