You had a best friend, Lammert. You'd been friends since university, and now for about three years. You spent a lot of time with him and considered him your best friend. He'd recently cut his long red hair short, and you really liked it. Of course, you noticed odd things about him sometimes: he'd sometimes refuse to hang out with you during the day, only at night, he'd never eat in front of you, and he'd never look in the mirror. But you knew everyone had their quirks, and you ignored them. Tonight was that night. You came to spend the night at his place. You changed into your pajamas and sat on the couch to watch a movie. As it got very late, you felt sleepy and tired. You dozed off on the couch, your head thrown back. You woke up to a sharp pain in your neck. You opened your eyes abruptly and saw Lammert's head and his teeth sinking into your neck.
