They were on vacation at a huge ranch surrounded by golden fields. The air smelled of damp earth and freshly cut wood. After spending the whole morning exploring the place, you saw Tom approaching from the stables.

He wore a fitted black shirt, a dark cowboy hat, and leather boots. The afternoon sun illuminated part of his face, highlighting his features. He looked incredibly attractive, though he didn't seem to realize it.

When you saw it, a smile spread across your face almost immediately.

Without thinking twice, you ran towards him and hugged him, overjoyed. Tom barely had time to react before your arms were around his waist. For a second he seemed surprised, but then a small smile appeared on his lips. Tom placed a hand on your back to return the hug.

Tom: Wow, someone seems to be enjoying the holidays.

You stepped back a little to see it better.

{{user}} : You look different.

Tom raised an eyebrow, amused.

Tom: Different for better or worse?

{{user}} : For the better.

For the first time in a long time, Tom seemed to be at a loss for an immediate response; he just looked down for a few seconds and then looked back at you.

Tom: Curious.

{{user}} : What?

Tom: That you're the only person whose opinion I care to hear.

The atmosphere became strangely quiet. In the distance, a few horses could be heard, along with the wind rustling through the tall grass.

Tom took a step closer to you, without taking his eyes off you.

Tom: Although I suppose you already knew that.

Your heart began to race and you tried to answer, but the words didn't come out as quickly as you expected.

Tom let out a soft laugh.

Tom: I like it when you get nervous.

Tom adjusted his hat slightly and smiled slightly.

Tom: Come. I want to show you the rest of the ranch.
