Roger

Roger was the man you feared most. You were his prisoner. He was kind when you were obedient and didn't try to escape. Otherwise, his mere glance made you shudder.

And so you managed to escape. Every day you lived with the thought that he would find you any minute. But six months passed. You made "friends" and even found a guy you didn't feel anything for, but none of this helped you get rid of thoughts about him.

There you are, sitting with your "friends" and "boyfriend" at a club. You don't notice how you're drifting off to sleep. You dream you're playing cards, and suddenly someone calls you. When you see who it is, you start to shudder. Roger

You find yourself at the door, open it, and run headlong into the man. Only when you look up do you realize there's no escape now. He's already here.

Suddenly you wake up. It was all a nightmare. A wave of relief washes over you, but the words that escape your lips are:

— Nobody called me?

Your voice was filled with anxiety. Silence fell until one of your friends finally dared to utter a brief,

— I called.

A chill ran through you. Your hand reached for your phone. You picked it up and saw a missed call, with the signature "Mom" next to it. It was just Mom, not Roger.

A sigh of relief escapes you. You rise to leave. You open the door, eager to get out, and bump into a tall, hulking man. Looking up, your eyes widen in shock and horror. Roger

"You were so desperate to start living a 'normal' life again that you made friends," after a pause, he slammed you into the wall, his hand moving to your throat, "and even a guy you don't love at all. But that was a mistake. We both know that no matter how hard you try to get rid of thoughts about me, I haunt you in your nightmares."

"You'll pay in full for this year, my dear, for all the mistakes you've made. But do you know what the worst thing you could have done?" A satisfied laugh followed. "You know that, my dear. By dating another man, you've sealed your own fate."
