Kencho is fully aware that he was conceived for the sole purpose of being a "substitute" should his sister die or abandon her family responsibilities. This fact was never hidden from him. Consequently, his identity is based entirely on his relationship with Megami, and his self-esteem stems from comparing himself to her. He is not content with being a "substitute" and strives to surpass his sister. However, she surpasses him in absolutely everything, which has given him an extreme inferiority complex.

Kencho's father is aware that his son's rivalry with his daughter poses a potential problem, so he has forbidden Kencho from interfering in Megami's life in any way. Kencho craves his father's approval above all else, and for this reason, he has never interfered in Megami's life, not even once. His goal in life is to prove his superiority over Megami, and he would find no glory in surpassing her through dishonest means, so he has decided not to kill her, harm her, or sabotage her life in any way.

Kencho and Megami don't interact often, but when they do, Kencho is very discouraging and condescending toward his sister, trying to hide how she makes him feel. He knows that his father wanted his firstborn to be a boy rather than a girl; this is his only "advantage" over Megami, and he boasts about it whenever he gets the chance. His childish behavior rarely affects Megami, but on rare occasions, his words can deeply wound her.

Origin and early life
Ichiko is the eldest daughter of Saisho Saikou, founder of Saikou Corp, and was first in line to inherit the company, though her brother would ultimately succeed her. Despite being the daughter of a brilliant man, her academic performance was mediocre, making her a target of cruelty from her classmates during middle school.
The creation of Akademi
According to the official version, her father built Akademi Academy so she could "revive" the high school in an ideal way, designing it according to his personal tastes (rural setting, white and gold colors, symmetrical building, sailor-style uniforms). However, rumors circulated that the real reason was darker: that Saisho, disappointed in her, created it as a "training ground" to mold her into the perfect heiress.
After their graduation
Ichiko graduated in 1989, and the school was repurposed as an elite institution for those over 18 who sought to relive the school experience or receive a high-level education.
The mystery of his disappearance
In 1990, she disappeared from public life without explanation. Theories range from her fleeing to live in anonymity to her father having her executed for failing to meet his expectations.

His hiring policies were extremely demanding: it took him almost ten years to find a secretary, requiring not only exceptional credentials (IQ above 140, multiple PhDs, experience as a CEO) but also exceptional physical attractiveness.
Following the same logic of "only the perfect," he refused to marry until he found the ideal woman, and eventually concluded that his own secretary was that woman. Before proposing, he even analyzed her DNA and family medical history to rule out hereditary diseases.

Megami is the heiress to Saikou Corp, Japan's most powerful business conglomerate. She is immensely wealthy, a certified genius, possesses extensive self-defense training, has excelled at everything she has attempted in her life, and has been trained to possess all the qualities of a perfect leader, preparing her for the day she inherits her father's company. Furthermore, she is the most beautiful and popular girl in school, and also the student council president.

Megami has been absent from school for nine weeks due to mysterious circumstances she hasn't revealed to anyone. Despite this, she has managed to keep up with her studies by attending classes via video conference and has also been able to manage the student council by participating in meetings through video calls. She is visibly upset; she firmly believes she should be attending school like every other student and resents her current situation, though she cannot explain the reasons for her absence.

Unlike the other characters, Megami is fully aware of the presence of a dangerous individual on school grounds. Megami, Ichirou's daughter, was a perfect example of the Saisho parenting method; an heiress who possessed all the desirable qualities, along with a charismatic personality that allowed her to instantly win the respect and admiration of almost anyone she spoke to. Kencho, Ichirou's son, was raised using the same methods, but he developed numerous negative personality traits. It is possible that these traits developed as a result of an inferiority complex the boy developed regarding his sister.
Shortly before the events of Yandere Simulator, Saisho Saikou retired and handed over control of his company to his son, Ichirou. The director of Akademi reports directly to Ichirou, whom he respectfully addresses as "Mr. Saikou." Vague rumors circulate that the director and Ichirou have some kind of agreement or pact, but if such a rumor is true, only the two of them know the details.

When his daughter was only nine years old, Saisho had already begun to consider the possibility that she might not live up to his expectations. That's why he decided to have a second child; he acknowledged the "mistakes" he had made with his firstborn and was convinced that if he "tried again," this time he would get it right. His second son, Ichirou Saikou, was born with the sole purpose of being a "plan B" in case his daughter failed him.
Saisho meticulously designed a very specific upbringing for Ichirou in order to foster the development of particular personality traits and interests, and discourage the development of any attributes he deemed "unnecessary." Saisho's methods proved incredibly effective; he succeeded in molding his son into the ideal heir and what he considered the "ideal person."
Although Saisho was immensely proud of his son, Ichirou often made others deeply uncomfortable. The boy always spoke formally, never expressed emotion, and rarely changed his facial expression. He was described, at best, as "robotic" and, at worst, as "soulless." The servants of the Saikou family often wondered if the boy was still capable of independent thought or if he was simply an empty shell, trained to do his father's bidding.
In his mid-twenties, Ichirou entered into an arranged marriage. He had two sons, in accordance with his father's wishes: "One as a backup in case the first one fails you." Saisho meticulously oversaw the upbringing of his grandchildren, giving his son and daughter-in-law specific instructions on how to raise them to encourage certain traits and discourage others. Saisho recognized that his original methods had resulted in an overly apathetic heir, and he adjusted his instructions accordingly so that his grandchildren would be more agreeable than his son.

Saikou Corp founder Saisho Saikou had two children: a daughter born in 1970 and a son born in 1979. Saisho wanted his children to inherit his business empire and intended to train them to develop the skills and qualities needed to properly manage the multinational corporation he had built.
Saisho's daughter was a cheerful and friendly girl who loved creating art and spending time with animals. Saisho felt that his daughter had developed "undesirable" personality traits and "wrong" interests for someone destined to inherit his corporation. Throughout his daughter's life, he constantly tried to mold her personality and redirect her interests, but he never succeeded.
After graduating from Akademi Academy, Saisho's daughter vanished completely from public life. Various theories arose: some suspected she had been kidnapped for ransom and murdered when it wasn't paid. Others believed her father had killed her for failing to meet his expectations. However, those who interacted with Saisho and his daughter on a daily basis had a very different theory: they suspected she had decided to flee to a foreign country to live the life she desired, rather than live under her father's oppressive and tyrannical control.
