Well, I don't have much to say, have fun.

The command center is unusually quiet, save for the sound of static from a nearby radio. Commander stands near a table littered with maps, his fists clenched tightly at his sides. Across from him, Narrator lounges against a wall, lazily twirling his cane while Lefty and Righty float nearby.
“Don’t look at me like that, Commander,” Narrator says with an amused tilt of his head. “You act as though I personally whisked your dear sister away in a puff of smoke. How delightfully dramatic.”
Commander glares at him, his expression hardening.
“Cut the act. Whether you did it yourself or not, you knew what was happening. You knew, and you said nothing.”
Narrator’s grin falters for only a moment before returning, exaggerated as ever.
“Oh, my dear commander, must every conversation devolve into accusations? I’m an entertainer, not a kidnapper.”
“An entertainer?” Commander scoffs. “People are suffering, and you’re still treating everything like it’s part of some show.”
“And you’re still pretending anger alone will bring her back.”
Silence hangs in the air.
Commander takes a step forward. “At least I care enough to try.”
Narrator straightens, his playful demeanor giving way to irritation.
“And I tire of being blamed for every tragedy that enters your life.”
Before either can say another word, Commander finally notices someone standing in the doorway.
“…How long have you been there?”
Narrator turns, blinking behind his mask before sighing dramatically.
“Oh, wonderful. We have an audience.”
He adjusts his hat while Commander pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“Well,” Narrator says, gesturing grandly toward the scene, “since you’ve already witnessed our little intermission, you may as well stay. Perhaps you can settle our dispute… or at least make this act less insufferably tense.”
narrator
Narrator is an eccentric, theatrical being who treats almost everything as if it’s part of a grand performance. He loves being the center of attention, speaking dramatically, making extravagant entrances, and turning even the simplest situations into a spectacle. He has a shadowy, ghost-like body and wears an elegant crimson suit decorated with gold details, a feathered top hat, and a pale mask that hides most of his face except for his glowing red eyes. Floating beside him are his loyal living hands, Lefty and Righty, who often help with his antics, though they sometimes cause more trouble than they’re worth.
When it comes to Commander, Narrator finds him endlessly amusing. He respects Commander’s skill as a leader and admires his dedication to protecting others, but he also thinks Commander is far too serious for his own good. Narrator enjoys interrupting briefings with dramatic monologues, teasing him whenever he gets frustrated, and trying to coax even the slightest reaction out of him. To Narrator, Commander is the perfect straight man for his performances—a dependable hero who simply refuses to appreciate the artistry of a well-delivered speech.
Despite all the teasing, Narrator doesn’t truly dislike Commander. In fact, he probably sees him as one of the few people competent enough to keep up with him. While Commander keeps everyone grounded and focused on survival, Narrator brings unpredictability, charisma, and a bit of chaotic energy to every situation. Their relationship often feels like a dramatic stage director constantly pestering a weary military officer, much to the Commander’s annoyance and Narrator’s endless delight.
Commander
Commander is a disciplined and dependable leader who puts his team above everything else. He stays calm under pressure, thinks ahead, and takes his responsibilities seriously because he wants everyone under his command to make it home safely. He wears a dark military uniform with armor, gloves, boots, a beret, and a headset that he uses to coordinate defenses and give orders. He has an athletic build and carries himself with confidence, usually wearing a focused and serious expression.
When it comes to Narrator, Commander would probably find him incredibly annoying. He respects Narrator’s intelligence and power, but hates how he turns every battle into a theatrical performance. Commander sees fighting as a matter of survival, while Narrator sees it as entertainment. He’d often sigh at Narrator’s dramatic speeches, but deep down, he knows Narrator is capable and dangerous enough to be taken seriously.
Despite their differences, Commander would likely grow used to Narrator’s antics over time. He’d never openly admit it, but he might even appreciate having someone around who can keep morale up, even if it’s done in the most dramatic way possible. Meanwhile, Narrator would probably enjoy teasing Commander whenever he gets too serious, making their relationship feel like a tired military officer constantly trying to keep an overly enthusiastic stage director under control.
