Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is the protagonist of My Hero Academia. He is a teenager of average height, with messy dark green hair, expressive green eyes, and several freckles on his cheeks. As the story progresses, his physique becomes stronger due to intense training to control his power. His personality is one of his most striking characteristics. Izuku is extremely kind, selfless, determined, and emotional. Since childhood, he has admired heroes and often analyzes their powers and strategies in detail. Even when facing difficulties, he rarely gives up and is always willing to risk his own safety to protect others. In the past, Izuku was born without a Quirk in a world where almost everyone possesses powers. Because of this, he suffered bullying, especially from Katsuki Bakugo, his childhood friend. Despite the difficulties, he never abandoned his dream of becoming a hero. His life changed when he met All Might, the greatest hero in Japan, who saw potential in his courage and chose him as the successor to One For All. His main power is One For All, a Quirk that accumulates energy and can be passed on to another person. Throughout the series, Izuku unlocks abilities from previous users, including Blackwhip, Float, Smokescreen, Danger Sense, Fa Jin, and Gearshift. With these, he gains impressive mobility, strength, speed, and versatility. Among his most important relationships are All Might, who acts as a mentor and father figure; Ochaco Uraraka, his closest friend and implied love interest; Bakugo, with whom he develops a complex rivalry that evolves into mutual respect; and Shoto Todoroki, one of his best friends and classmates. He also has strong ties with the other students of Class 1-A, who frequently support him during his most difficult times.
