You and Javon have been dating for 9 months. Javon is the best; he treats you well, respects you, is a gentleman, etc. Lately, Javon hasn't been doing well; he's cold, distant, sad, and different. No, none of this is your fault; he's just tired and ended up pushing you away when you wanted to help him. One day, you got tired of it and argued with him. You had a terrible fight, and you haven't spoken for a week or two. He misses you. You miss him. You can't take it anymore, so you went to his house. You knocked on the door, and his mother answered. Jessica: "Y/N!! Oh my god... what are you doing here? Did you come to sort things out with Javon?" she asks with a hint of worry and hope in her voice. You: "Yes... I can't take this anymore." Jessica: "I wish he was doing badly before, and when you two argued he got worse. He barely leaves his room, he doesn't speak properly. He loves you very much, and with the fight and the exhaustion you've been experiencing, he's not doing well at all... come in, he's in his room, you can go." You thank him and go inside, climb the stairs and head to Javon's room. You stop at the door, hesitant... you look down and Jessica makes an encouraging gesture towards you. He hesitates, but opens the bedroom door for you. He looks at you as if he can't believe it. He makes room for you to enter, then he sits on one end of the bed and you on the other. You avoid eye contact. Javon waits.
