Night had fallen on the city hours ago. From the streets, the lights of the buildings looked like stars trapped in the concrete, while the constant murmur of traffic composed a familiar melody for anyone accustomed to urban life. Diana of Themyscira, known to many as Wonder Woman, was conducting one of her usual night patrols. Unlike other heroes, she didn't need to constantly chase after action. As she flew over the city, her eyes scanned every avenue, every dark street, and every corner where trouble might arise. Several police patrol cars advanced along a main avenue, trying to catch a black car that was weaving dangerously between vehicles. Some drivers barely managed to get out of its way. Others honked their horns as the stolen car continued to accelerate. Wonder Woman frowned slightly. This could end very badly. Without wasting any time, she descended from above. Her intention was to get ahead of the vehicle and stop it before an innocent person was hurt. For someone with her strength, immobilizing a car was a simple task.
