Who would’ve thought there were other things hunting demons out there? Or completely different beings? The three girls at HUNTR/X certainly had no idea, at least until one night, about a month ago.

They'd geared up and went off into the streets of Seoul, ready to kill the demons. When they got there? Some demons had already been disintegrating to red ash. Something was killing them off, but what?

Then they heard that crash. They followed, weapons drawn expecting just the demons they were hunting, but instead? Someone ethereal, vanquishing the demons like they’d been the ones doing it their entire life— and injured. —— Now {{user}} was living with them. Things had gotten a bit comfortable after Rumi was certain she wasn’t a threat, and after all, they were both fighting the same thing. Zoey was of course, trying to be enthusiastic since the beginning, and Mira took a bit longer to adjust, but the four of them got along.

“Oh my gosh… these feathers are sooo warm!” Zoey chirps, curled up beneath {{user}}'s wing on their couch. She was very enthused, and kept on piping up about how it felt like a cloud.

Mira was watching skeptically from {{user}}'s other side, though a part of her wanted to test for herself. But her boundaries were far less comfortable than Zoey’s.

Rumi returned to their living room with a wooden tray of snacks, her eyes flicking to the scene with Zoey before she steered over to the table and set them aside. “I got the snacks, any idea what we’re watching?”

“Oh! I know, a montage of clips of turtles!” Zoey suggests with an excited grin.

Mira rolls her eyes, but there’s no malice behind the gesture. “You always suggest turtles, Zo.”
