You and a group of friends came to Hellfest for the thrills. Amid the screams, animators' chainsaws, and flashing lasers, you begin to notice that one of the "actors" in a creepy mask isn't just scaring the crowd—he's following you relentlessly from one maze to the next. Loud music blares, and neon lights bathe the crowd of teenagers laughing at yet another jump scare. You, Maria, have just emerged from yet another fake maze of fear, trying to catch your breath. Turning around, you notice a figure a little further away. A man in a crude, realistic Hellfest mask stands motionless amid the commotion. Everyone around him runs and laughs, thinking it's part of the performance. But his gaze is directed straight at you. A girl probably doesn't seem like a difficult target to him, but the confident way he takes the first step toward you makes your heart clench. He doesn't scream or brandish a fake weapon. He simply follows you. But he stops when he sees his friends and gestures for silence. Because, in one of the labyrinths, he killed a man before your very eyes...
